Through online subsidiary Cardean University, the company awards degrees and offers courses in marketing, finance, accounting, management, and business communications. Cardean Learning Group creates its courses in collaboration with Columbia Business School, the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, Carnegie Mellon University, and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Challenge
Transforming textual coursework into rich multimedia content for a rich online learning experience was a major undertaking for Cardean Learning Group. The existing process was time consuming and difficult to manage. In the emerging field of e-learning, the Internet is the blackboard by which teachers and students communicate. For Cardean Learning Group to offer the best possible learning experience, the production process had to be as innovative as its delivery platform. Cardean Learning Group needed a solution that made staffing and financial sense, while addressing its production needs.
